The surrounding plains are agricultural areas and scattered populations. The part that is a wildlife sanctuary is a highland to a steep hill. The forest condition is still fertile, not suitable for agriculture, and it is the source of many streams such as Watermelon Canal, Nong Prajak Canal, Chompoo Canal, and many creeks that flow into the Ping River through general agricultural areas.

There are various plants depending on the forest condition, such as teak, rubber wood, tabaek, macha-mong, redwood, padauk, diphtheria, nest and wood. Two pines, etc., are considered to have a wide variety of plants even if it is in a not very spacious area; it is therefore suitable to be used as an ecological study.
